Madrid interviews

Dear students

Once we finish our London Interviews activities I suggest we decide on how to practice all the language that we've been working on . I'd like to propose three different activities and I would like you to take a vote on which activity you think is best or you would rather do, giving reasons for your choice. These are the activities I propose:

a. School outing. Think of relevant questions about Madrid to ask foreign tourists. We could go to some tourist attraction in Madrid city center and ask some tourists for a short interview. Your interviews would be recorded and photos would be taken. Then we would produce a presentation or a video showing the results of our work.
b. Interviewing our language assistants. The same activity could be done in class with the help of our English language assistants. A video or a presentation would also be produced.

Think of the advantages and disadvantages of both activities. Everyone should be prepared to comment on them on this wall.

We have a blog!

Hello, class!
This is our new blog for Ampliación de Inglés. We will be using this blog in class and for homework. I hope everyone enjoys it!
Our first activity is a listening exercise. You'll be hearing (and watching) a series of interviews with people in London. In the video you'll hear some interesting words. Do you know the meaning of weirdo, sinister, lively and performers? Why don't you look them up in a dictionary? Try the sidebar Longman Dictionary gadget on the right.
Listen and  do the exercises clicking on here.
